I’m one of your avid followers. I loved your hit single “Paalam na and Heart’s desire”,since u ask us to recommend songs for your album soon to be another hit single, as always…I’d like to request for the song “You’ve made me Stronger” popularized by Regine V. but would like more to listen to your own rendition of that song. Hope you’ll include it in your Album. Congratulations to your winnings and more luck in your booming Career. Hope you’ll remember that by your songs, you’ve touched my heart…kudos!!!

Hi, Rachel! I just want to let you know that I have been your avid fan eversince. Voice so unique! So western! So black (refering to the black voices like whitney, gladys, mariah, chaka khan, patti austin and the like)! The first time I heard “Much Longer” (1990’s), thought it was Gloria Estefan! My classmates and friends told me it was a local voice! “Just a local voice??!!!”,I replied by a damn questioning thoughts by surprise. And was delighted to find out it was YOU! Then I browsed and scanned the music bars, heard your songs. Gee, you have a very powerful voice! It even surpasses voices of modern/contemporary western female music icons! If only people will hear your song “They Know It’s Over” and “Dreams”. The latter is so simple yet with musical style which some artists can’t accomplish. After learning your music, I started to love music. Thanks to you! I’m a discreet gay and mind you, I am trying too hard imitatiing your voice! How do you belt out? How do you hold your breath when you sing? Holding out one’s breath while singing is a TRUE singer’s trademark and you’ve got that. In “Bulag sa Katotohanan”, did you breathe? Hahahahaha. People dont notice that! Even the music industry! It’s a shame! I was catching my breath when I sang that! I remember one time catching your voice in EASYCALL Philippines, 1995-1997. I knew your easycall number. I tried contacting you. You responded by calling me at the numbre I gave you but I was speechless! And i just shakingly said, “I’m your fan!”. And you were so friendly! I got the chance to see you doing your groceries in Galleria too! Why I couldn’t approach you??!! I was too histrionic singing your song ” Kay Tagal” for you to catch a glimpse of me and to get your attention! And you just said, “thanks” with that very sincere smile! Was it flattering? I will nevre know if you can still remember that! Well, I was not your stalker!!!!! I swear! Hahahaha. Just an avid fan for 17 years now! And my friends know that I have been a big fan of you! Thanks for the update on the new Greatest Hits Album under Alpha. Boy! am oh so excited already to get a copy since its a double cd and the other cd contains live performances as well as a rehash of Kay Tagal with the South Border boys. Please contain to give us updates here when will the album be released. And if you can somehow show us the cover of the album so we know what to look for in the music stores. Is the revival Alone by Heart part of this album as originally planned. Hope so. been dying to have a copy of rachel’s version already.
